inception_insite_transitionWell, we are at that time of year again….some of you Coaches are beginning to think about your post season play while others are thinking of their upcoming pre-season.  Whether it is time for you to think about the development of your training program for your post season athletes, athletes transitioning from one sport to the next, or athletes coming off of sitting on their butts it is important to understand the details that are all too often overlooked when developing these programs. A simple re-assessment of your athletes can greatly help you decide what steps to take going forward. For example, the overhead squat and hamstring flexibly test can be a good indicator of overuse that occurred during the season or lack of proper maintenance by both the in season and out of season athlete.
